Three Things Thursday + a Raffle

  1. I guess I should thank the running gods for letting me stay healthy during my three races in three weeks stint.  I woke up Monday morning with an awful cold that has kicked my tail.  B (cousin's husband) ran the marathon last weekend with this and all the props in the world to him.  He is tough.
  2. My husband is going to have a crazy few months of work and school, involving some serious traveling.  One of these trips happens to be over the weekend of my Disney Marathon so I was seriously bummed about him missing this huge event.  Today, my mom, sister, sister in law and niece all said they were going to come down and make it a huge girls weekend!  I am super excited to have all this support with me, even if the husband can't make it!
  3. Need anything from Pampered Chef?  I am hosting a party this weekend, but you can order online.  If you go here you can order from the party and I will get money donated to my Team in Training page.
Now to the raffle!

A Nathon Quick Draw Water Bottle

A StephanieMc Design Necklace (it says run like a girl on the circles)

A Thin Sweaty Band

My best running experience . . . has to be the GW Parkway 10 miler . . . it was my first race back after my stress fracture. I was not fast, but felt great the whole race. And nopain in myleg. I was on cloud 9 after it!

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well but hope you are better now. I was fighting a little cold earlier this week but am recovering (thank goodness). I have a 15 miler scheduled for today... wish me luck! It's too bad it's a 15 because there is a half in town today that I would have liked to run in.

Train on!

My best running experience is basically everytime I make it out the door and finish a run! I haven't run any races yet, so I'm waiting on that first PR :)

my best running experience was my first race ever, the Susan G. Comen 5K. I was so proud of myself and totally emotional running with so many survivors and in memory of so many women.
My hubby was really proud of me. I saw him tearing up as I crossed the finish line.

I run to be healthy for my girls. After losing my Mom 6 years ago I was inspired and determined to not let my girls go through the same thing. I do it to stay sane.

The best running experience I ever had was a training run with my best friend in Missouri. It ended up being a huge thunder storm. Running through that, having fun, and laughing together was the best experience ever. I'll never forget it.
